Arnica Oil results from the processing of the Arnica montana plant. Arnica is a perennial plant, endemic to Europe, with flowers that have large yellow petals. Both the flowers and the roots of arnica have been used for hundreds of years for their healing properties.
Arnica oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, anti-rheumatic, disinfectant, antiseptic, antimicrobial and local anti-irritant properties. It is therefore considered a highly healing oil for muscle aches, sprains, muscle spasms, fractures, rheumatism, arthritis, hematomas, spasms, and bruises. In muscle pain it offers immediate effectiveness and rapid relief.
Arnica oil is also used as a warming agent (massage), by athletes and dancers before exercise and as a relaxing after exercise.
And finally, the massage on the scalp with diluted arnica oil, will help in the blood circulation and the growth and strengthening of the hair.
